Knitting Problems

I learned how to do the single cast on, but for the actual stitch, I got COMPLETELY lost. I was trying to learn how to do the knit stitch, but I couldn't figure out one part of it. It was this weird thing where even though I watched it about 5 times, it didn't make ANY sense. I kept working on it, but it still didn't make any sense. I want to find a different video, because it might work then. I really hope to find out how to do the next thing Monday.
